Pandemonium is an online gaming clan. We play 'Call of Duty 4, Modern Warfare' in the 'Telkom dogaming' league.

Call of Duty 4 is a war based game.  Each team consists of 5 players who use strategies to either plant or defend a bomb site in 'search and destroy' maps in 'Cod4'. It is based on terrorist versus Marine warfare. Each match consists of 24 rounds, and at half time, teams switch sides from either defending to attacking, or from attacking to defending.

We have one extremely competitive team in 'Pandemonium' called Vengence which consists of 5 players and one reserve. Our 5 main players are: paNde`Nsanity, paNde`Spirit (Manager), paNde`C-Killer, paNde`Mattzor and paNde`Creep (Captain/Owner). We have all been playing 'Cod4' and other FPS (First Person Shooter) games for years, and have basically been brought up to be highly skilled gamers with lightning quick reflexes and pinpoint accuracy with a mouse and keyboard.

In each team there are 2 Assault Rifle players, 2 Sub Machine Gunners and one Sniper. At the start of each round each player has one special grenade, of which there is a choice of either a flash bang, or a smoke grenade, and one frag grenade. Generally the 2 Assault players which are Nsanity and Mattzor use smoke grenades to provide cover for the team to get to their positions each round. The 2 sub machine gunners, Creep and Spirit, get into the bomb sites to either plant a bomb or defend in the site. The Sniper, C-Killer, watches for any opposing players to reveal themselves and eliminates them. Precisely thrown frag grenades are used to slow down and to kill a few of the opposing players at the start of each round.

Our games are won by having excellent teamwork and by the ability to read the game in the early stages of the match. Our players must be comfortable with one another to ensure that we have good and accurate communication during a game, so we can move together as one force to wipe out our opponents, and take control of the maps.

We are aiming to be one of the top teams in the country and play daily and practice together on

all the major servers in the country. We also enter into lan tournaments such as frag lan in Durban, and walk away with a podium finish every time.

We have recruited some of the finest online gamers and are aiming to boost their gaming careers with the well-known name, Pandemonium, while offering something to the gaming community.

Our site contains a social networking feature, which allows players from South Africa to register and create photo albums which can be used to show off their gaming results. Players can add friends and create groups and discussions in a similar fashion to facebook. This also allows players to embed gaming demos and their favourite you tube and google videos in their profile to share with everyone in the gaming community, and to get themselves noticed.

We are also working hard to form a relationship between hardware suppliers and manufacturers and the gaming community and to promote gaming in this country to help make it recognized as a challenging and disciplined lifestyle and not as playing the fool and wasting time. One can learn much from gaming and we at Pandemonium will cause chaos and mayhem to make that known in this country!
